The best mail client, hands down. Microsoft can not touch this one. It gets better with every release as well. The spam filter and the security settings make this one top notch.

how strange it is that when you want to update Thunderbird that the download link takes you to the Thunderbird download 2 page, hmmmmmm wonder if version 3 is really out yet? hmmmm

where is thunderbird V3.0 at?

You can turn it off in Client. Options -> General Settings tick beside "Don't notify me about beta-versions"

Why the hell are so many alpha's/beta's going into software informer? ugh..this program is becoming more of an annoyance due to this.

be careful !! ... Thunderbird 3.xxx is still on alpha-/beta-state ... the latest official release is still 2.0.0.14. The betastate should be identified by SI.
