It is possible to download Mozilla Thunderbird in English. Make sure to go to the official Mozilla website and select English as the language before downloading.
The process is a little complicated, but it should be achieved successfully. Follow the instructions to properly set an auto-reply.
Open Thunderbird and create a new message. This will be your auto-reply.
Go to File > Save As and choose Template.
Save the template name as Auto-Reply.
Close the template, not go to Tools > Message Filters. Click New and change the name to Auto-Reply.
Select Match all of the following, and under the For Apply Filter When change the Subject to To and insert your email address you want to activate the auto-reply for.
Click the Plus button at the end of TO and change the TO to Status. Leave the middle menu at is, then select New.
Click the Plus button again and change TO to Status and middle one to isn't, then the last field to Replied.
Click Plus button one more time and change TO to Status then middle one to isn't and the latest one to Forwarded.
Under Perform These Actions, select Move Message to and use Reply With Template from the drop down menu, then select Auto-Reply template.
Close the filtering and enable the option in the Message Filters list.
Now you have an Auto-Reply function inside Thunderbird.
Just register the program, and then I believe it asks you to create an account. I don't remember for sure, because mine are gone now, but open SI and at the top right is two blue buttons. I believe the one is to register. Once you register, it will change to only one blue button that says "Visit Your Page", which will take you to your page here. (Oh, and after doing this, shut down SI and restart it, so you're User Name and that single blue button can be changed in the software's registry entries).
Could you please help me find Mozilla Thunderbird tutorials and forums?

You can download and install Mozilla Thunderbird 24.01. When you install and launch Mozilla Thunderbird for the first time you will be asked by the Import Wizard window if you want to import Options, Account settings, Address book, Filters and other data from another mail client like Mozilla and Netscape. If you select this, your entire profile will be imported.

My work around. If there are only one or two to add: type in first few letters and it will fill other fields. If you have a lot of addresses to add, open the Address book, click to forward the email, minimize the Thunderbird program, change the size of the forwarding email and the address book so that they both are visible on the screen. Click and drag from the address book to the "BCC" bar. If you are sending am email to a lot of addresses you should be using Bcc. Maurie
Yes, you can use Mozilla Thunderbird for all the email accounts you have. The only requirement is related to the way you connect to those email accounts. It actually means to enable POP3 and IMAP for all the accounts to be able to access them because Mozilla THunderbird uses these communication protocols to send and receive emails. To set up multiple accounts and provides, access the support page provided by the Mozilla company. There is everything explained on how to do it.
The "Search" facility in Thunderbird is easy to use so far as one can call up and see the wanted email that contains the search string. However, when that email is part of an ongoing conversation, it is necessary to identify which folder the email has been placed in. When a searched-for email is displayed during a search process, how does one tell where in the folder tree it is located? One hasn't really "found it" until he knows where it is.

There is an ongoing discussion related to this request on the Mozilla Support forums. The request seems to be the same, and the users who responded to the questions provided solutions in terms of add-ons and such. Access the page and read the answers from the users. You will have the possibility to install an add-on by default in order achieve what you want. It seems the Thunderbird doesn't offer the possibility to locate exactly the email in an on-going discussion.
No, Mozilla Thunderbird is a free, open-source software and will not cost you anything.
