Open Thunderbird and create a new message. This will be your auto-reply.
Go to File > Save As and choose Template.

Click the Plus button again and change TO to Status and middle one to isn't, then the last field to Replied.
Click Plus button one more time and change TO to Status then middle one to isn't and the latest one to Forwarded.
Under Perform These Actions, select Move Message to and use Reply With Template from the drop down menu, then select Auto-Reply template.
Close the filtering and enable the option in the Message Filters list.
Now you have an Auto-Reply function inside Thunderbird.

I believe the one is to register. Once you register, it will change to only one blue button that says "Visit Your Page", which will take you to your page here. You can download and install Mozilla Thunderbird 24.01. When you install and launch Mozilla Thunderbird for the first time you will be asked by the Import Wizard window if you want to import Options, Account settings, Address book, Filters and other data from another mail client like Mozilla and Netscape. If you select this, your entire profile will be imported.

My work around. If there are only one or two to add: type in first few letters and it will fill other fields. If you have a lot of addresses to add, open the Address book, click to forward the email, minimize the Thunderbird program, change the size of the forwarding email and the address book so that they both are visible on the screen. Click and drag from the address book to the "BCC" bar. If you are sending am email to a lot of addresses you should be using Bcc. Maurie
